Thunderstorm Advisory No. 5 #VISPRSD Issued at 06:54 PM 21 February 2026 Moderate to Heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over #Cebu(MandaueCity, CebuCity, Cordova, Argao, Dalaguete, Alcoy, CityOfBogo, Tabogon, SanRemigio, Borbon, Medellin), #Leyte(Palompon, Merida, Isabel, Hilongos, Bato, Matalom) and #SouthernLeyte(CityOfMaasin) within the next 30 minutes to an hour. The above conditions are being experienced in #Cebu(Sogod, Catmon, LapuLapuCity), #Leyte(Villaba, OrmocCity, MatagOb, Julita, Dulag, Burauen, LaPaz, Mayorga, Macarthur, Javier, CityOfBaybay), #EasternSamar(Guiuan), #SouthernLeyte(Bontoc, TomasOppus and Malitbog) which may persist within 1 to 2 hours and may affect nearby areas. All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides. Keep monitoring for updates.
