WESTERN NORTH PACIFIC AREA (180 TO MALAY PENINSULA): A. TROPICAL CYCLONE SUMMARY: (1) AT 22JUN26 1200Z, TYPHOON 07W (MEKKHALA) WAS LOCATED NEAR 18.1N 126.1E, APPROXIMATELY 513 NM SOUTH OF KADENA AB, AND HAD TRACKED WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AT 08 KNOTS OVER THE PAST SIX HOURS. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED SURFACE WINDS WERE ESTIMATED AT 125 KNOTS GUSTING TO 150 KNOTS. SEE REF A (WTPN31 PGTW 221500) FOR FURTHER DETAILS. (2) AT 22JUN26 1200Z, TROPICAL DEPRESSION 08W (EIGHT) WAS LOCATED NEAR 14.2N 147.8E, APPROXIMATELY 172 NM EAST OF ANDERSEN AFB, AND HAD TRACKED WESTWARD AT 07 KNOTS OVER THE PAST SIX HOURS. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED SURFACE WINDS WERE ESTIMATED AT 25 KNOTS GUSTING TO 35 KNOTS. SEE REF B (WTPN32 PGTW 221500) FOR FURTHER DETAILS. (3) NO OTHER TROPICAL CYCLONES. B. The above conditions are being experienced in #Catanduanes(Pandan, Caramoran, Bagamanoc, Panganiban, Viga), #CamarinesSur(Caramoan, Garchitorena, Lagonoy, Tinambac, Siruma) and #CamarinesNorte(Vinzons) which may persist within 1 to 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.
