WESTERN NORTH PACIFIC AREA (180 TO MALAY PENINSULA): A. TROPICAL CYCLONE SUMMARY: NONE. B. TROPICAL DISTURBANCE SUMMARY: (1) THE AREA OF CONVECTION (INVEST 92W) PREVIOUSLY LOCATED NEAR 10.4N 154.4E IS NOW LOCATED NEAR 12.0N 147.7E, APPROXIMATELY 195 NM EAST-SOUTHEAST OF NAVAL STATION GUAM. ANIMATED MULTISPECTRAL SATELLITE IMAGERY (MSI) DEPICTS FLARING CONVECTION NEAR A SLOWLY CONSOLIDATING LOW-LEVEL CIRCULATION CENTER (LLCC). A PARTIAL 180023Z METOP-C ASCAT PASS, WHICH SAMPLED THE NORTHERN AND WESTERN QUADRANTS OF THE SYSTEM, SHOWED 15-20 KNOT WINDS ALONG THE NORTHERN PERIPHERY. ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS INDICATES CONDITIONS FAVORABLE FOR DEVELOPMENT, WITH LOW VERTICAL WIND SHEAR (5-10 KTS), MODERATE POLEWARD OUTFLOW ALOFT, AND WARM SEA SURFACE TEMPERATURES (29-30 C). GLOBAL DETERMINISTIC AND ENSEMBLE GUIDANCE GENERALLY AGREE ON GRADUAL DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT 48 HOURS AS THE SYSTEM CONSOLIDATES WHILE TRACKING WEST- NORTHWESTWARD. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED SURFACE WINDS ARE ESTIMATED AT 18 TO 23 KNOTS. MINIMUM SEA LEVEL PRESSURE IS ESTIMATED TO BE NEAR 1008 MB. Moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over Pampanga(Porac, Floridablanca, Sasmuan, Lubao), Bataan(Dinalupihan, Hermosa, Orani, Samal, Morong, Abucay, Balanga, Pilar, Bagac), Batangas(San Juan), Tarlac(Bamban, San Clemente, Camiling, Moncada, San Manuel) and Nueva Ecija(Cuyapo, Talugtug, Lupao, Carranglan) within the next 2 hours.

Heavy to intense rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are being experienced in Quezon(Pitogo, Gumaca, Unisan, Macalelon) and Zambales(Santa Cruz, Palauig) which may persist within 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.
