GARDO HAS EXITED THE PHILIPPINE AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY.
Location of eye/center : The center of Severe Tropical Storm GARDO was estimated based on all available data at at 1,310 km East Northeast of Extreme Northern Luzon (OUTSIDE PAR) (25.2, 133.7).
Strength : Maximum winds of 95 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 115 kph.
Forecast movement : Forecast to move Northward at 50 kph

Severe Winds
The Southwest Monsoon will bring strong to gale-force gusts over the following areas (especially in coastal and upland areas exposed to winds):
Today (26 June): Most of Luzon.
Tomorrow (27 June): Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Norte, and Ilocos Sur.

24-Hour Sea Condition Outlook
Up to rough seas over the following coastal waters:
Up to 3.0 m: The northern seaboard of Batanes.
Mariners of small seacrafts, including all types of motorbancas, are advised not to venture out to sea under these conditions, especially if inexperienced or operating ill-equipped vessels.
Up to moderate seas over the following coastal waters:
Up to 2.5 m: The northern and western seaboards of Babuyan Islands; the northern seaboard of Ilocos Norte; the remaining seaboard of Batanes.
Up to 2.0 m: The remaining seaboards of Babuyan Islands and Ilocos Norte; the seaboards of Ilocos Sur, La Union, Zambales, Lubang Island, and Kalayaan Islands; the western seaboards of Pangasinan, Bataan, and Batangas.
Mariners of motorbancas and similarly sized vessels are advised to take precautionary measures while venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigation under these conditions.
Other coastal waters have forecast wave heights of less than 2.0 m.
TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK
GARDO has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at 9:30 AM today. It is forecast to move northeastward and maintain its strength for the next 12 hours as it moves towards southern Japan.
